Board your overnight flight to Entebbe Airport - Uganda
Day 02
Entebbe - Kampala
On arrival in Entebbe clear your immigration and customs and transfer to your hotel in Kampala for an overnight.

Day 03
Kampala - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast depart for Murchison falls, enroute stopping of at a Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This special rhino re-introduction project was founded by Rhino Fund Uganda with the support of the Uganda Wildlife Authority, and it is the only place in the country where you can see these magnificent extinct black and white rhinos. Have a walking safari with an armed ranger and guide in search of Southern white rhino. The trek takes about 1-3 hours depending on where the Rhinos are at the time. Later proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos and crocodiles, waterbucks, and buffaloes. The vegetation is characterized by savannah, riverine forest, and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees, and many bird species. Arrive at the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day 04
Murchison Falls National Park
Have an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park returning later to the lodge for breakfast.  The 3,893 sq. km park is home to a range of animals, and you will have a chance of viewing some of the Park’s residents including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. After breakfast, relax and enjoy the facilities of the lodge. After lunch, depart for a boat trip at the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile thunders through a small 7-metergap plunging 43 meters into the Nile on the way to Lake Albert.  The banks of the Nile are densely populated with crocodiles, hippopotamus, and a range of other wildlife that come to the river to drink.  Optional hiking trip up the side of the falls to the top (additional cost). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 05
Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast depart for Kibale Forest for one night. Kibale is home to an extraordinary thirteen species of primates, including chimpanzees, red colobus, and L’Hoest monkeys. Kibale National Forest also has over 355 bird species and a range of other mammals including the elusive forest elephant. On arrival rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 06
Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast have morning at leisure or take the optional tour of Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest additional cost). Follow a network of forest trails to find the chimps squabbling and swinging from the trees.  Spending time with these primates is an exhilarating experience. Spend the morning in the forest and return in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park with one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, it is Uganda’s second largest National Park.  Reptiles are the amazing huge Rock-Python, Puff adders, Spitting Cobras, Gabon vipers, Green Mambas, and Turtles etc. All these are regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula and all this makes a superb safari territory. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 07
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have a morning game drive to the Kasenyi area looking out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, Elephants, Uganda Kob among others. Breakfast on return followed by leisure time to enjoy the lodge facilities or take up one of the various optional activities listed below (additional charges). After lunch, have an afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. Hippo’s huff and spray mere feet away from the boat, Buffalos linger in the shallows, a tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the shores.  Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants, Open-Billed Stork, African Jacana, Malachite and Pied Kingfishers are commonly seen.  After an exciting day relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight.
 
Other optional activities you can choose to engage in include:
Kasoga Community Experience: this is a community initiative on Lake George Ramsar site in Hamukungu fishing village south-western of Kasenyi on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The activity offers authentic local experiences where visitors completely get involved in the cultures and marine practices of the people for at least half a day. While in this activity you will learn how to milk, graze the cattle, and learn some of the tradition always of making yoghurt and ghee. Furthermore, get to learn the local fishing practices, species of fish caught and ways of preservation, traditional canoe making demonstrations, luckily get the chance to meet women making handcrafts, explore some of the intricate net sawing skills as well as get the chance to sight some of the Park’s wildlife species especially the Hippos and relish the breath-taking views of the Historical swamps within the community and many others
 
Queen’s Pavilion: Just 800 metres from the equator monument and overlooking a thrilling landscape of crater lakes is the Queen´s Pavilion, a community-run internet café. This is the perfect spot to revive yourself after an early morning safari with a cup of Ugandan tea or coffee. Listen to the elephants trumpeting on the dry plains below and enjoy the savannah views.
 

Katwe Salt Walk: This tour offers a unique insight into the fascinating process of salt mining, as well as providing an alternative income for Katwe. During the tour you will see community members at work, cross the mud walkways and enter one of the traditional grass huts used to shelter and store tools. The nearby bird sanctuary lake offers a chance to see flamingos from October to May.
 

Kikorongo African Art Workshop: Traditional crafts hold a special significance in Ugandan villages. Small baskets of groundnuts as a sign of friendship; a calabash on top of a house to ward off evil spirits or a traditional healer´s woven purse filled with natural remedies. Kikorongo Women Community invites you to learn their traditional skills during this fascinating workshop. You will later relax at your lodge.

Day 08
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Ishasha, The Southern Sector
After breakfast travel to Ishasha the Southern sector of the Queen Elizabeth Park, in an effort to see the famed tree climbing lions.  The lions are are best seen in the mid-morning hours. Arrive at the lodge, have lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight.

Day 09
Ishasha - Lake Mburo National Park
After an early morning breakfast, have a morning game drive and proceed to Lake Mburo National Park.  The 371 sq. km park is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains and has distinctly different animals as compared to other Ugandan parks. It is the best place in the country to see Eland Antelope, Zebra, Impala, and Acacia. The five lakes within the park attract hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, while fringing swamps hide black and yellow papyrus gonolek. Arriving in the park in the afternoon and go for a game drive if time permits. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10
Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala
This morning enjoys an early morning game drive and proceed to Kampala. Stop on route to look at the Equator - where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once. On arrival check in rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11
Kampala - Jinja - Entebbe
After breakfast, depart for Jinja and visit the source of the Nile, learn about the history of the area with a boat cruise on Lake Victoria. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight or transfer to the airport for your early morning flight home.
