Day 04
Auckland - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua

Today driveto Rotorua. Your first stop on this full day excursion is the famous WaitomoCaves complex. This whole area is riddled with limestone caves and strangelimestone formations. Enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glow-worm Grotto, withan unusual assortment of stalactites and Stalagmites, and hundreds of glowworms, experienced on an underground boat ride. Then you continue your journeyto Rotorua. Arrive in Rotorua and you will immediately smell the sulphur, thenyou will see the white steam from underground hot springs drifting throughparks and gardens and you will know that you are very close to the hot centreof the planet. On arrival, you will get a guided tour of the Te Puia ThermalReserve with its boiling mud pools and steaming geysers. Later we visit and seea model of a Maori Village, the Meeting House and craft centre. LakesideRotorua offers you a view of the beautiful black swans. Overnight in Rotorua.

Day 05
Rotorua - Lake Taupo

Today depart for day trip to Lake Taupo. Lake Taupois a lake in the North Island of New Zealand the size of Singapore – more of aninland sea. It is in the caldera of the Taupo Volcano. En route we will stopoff and see the Huka falls. On arrival at the Lake take a cruise on the lakeand get a chance to see the famous Mine Bay Maori Rock carvings. The MineBay Maori Rock Carvings on Lake Taupo have been hailed as one of New Zealand’smost extraordinary artworks. Towering 14-metres above the deep water of Lake Taupo.The carvings were sculpted over the course of four years and completed in 1980.Marae-taught carver Matahi Brightwell led a team of four artists to create aspectacular carving of his ancestor Ngatoroirangi on the rock face.

Day 06
Lake Taupo - Wellington
Today have a scenic drive to the capital of New Zealand -Wellington driving through Kaimanawa Forest Park. The Park is made up of four mountain ranges dissected by a number of large river systems. Kaimanawa Forest Park is a rugged and breath taking national park with untouched native forest and herds of wild horses. Pass through Palmerston North. Palmerston North has the New Zealand Rugby Museum displays sporting memorabilia, including vintage All Blacks uniforms, the Te Manawa art, science and history museum, Manawatu Gorge, with forested hills and native bush land. On arrival into Wellington have a short orientation city tour. See Waterfront along Wellington Harbour, Parliament Buildings, The Bucket Fountain, National Library, Wellington Cable Car (a funicular railway in Wellington, New Zealand, between Lambton Quay, the main shopping street and Kelburn). Overnight Wellington.

Day 07
Wellington - Picton - ChristChurch
Depart for the ferry port for the ferry to Picton. On arrival after a three-hour scenic ferry crossing  head to Christchurch. On arrival have an orientation tour of Christchurch. Time and weather permitting visit the Antarctic Centre (entrance not included). Overnight Christchurch

Day 08
ChristChurch - Greymouth - Fanz Josef
Today  travel through the most scenic route also referred to as the trans Alpine route by road. Go through Arthur’s pass towards Greymouth. Time permitting stopping to take in the view at Lake Pearson, a large and attractive hourglass shaped Lake located in the High Country. Proceed to the hospitable town of Franz Josef serves the glacier of the same name. Overnight Fran Josef.

Franz Josef Glacier - Fox Glacier – Mt Cook – Lake Matherson - Wanaka
Visit the long temperate maritime Glacier of Franz Josef. Continue to Travel through to see the Fox Glacier a 13-kilometre-long temperate maritime glacier. Wanaka a popular ski and summer resort town. En route today  visit the Lake Matheson (if weather permits you can see the reflection of Mt Cook and the Southern Alpson the lake), Franz Josef glacier; and Fox Glacier. A feast for the eyes and the cameras. Overnight Wanaka.

Day 10
Wanaka - QueensTown - Te Anau
Today travel via the Cardrona valley road to Gibbbston Valley Winery where you will learn more about the history of the region and wine making. Enjoy a tour of the unique wine cave that has been blasted out of the mountains to create an ideal environment to store the wine. Later continue with a trip to Lake Hayes and its stunning scenery and reflective surface and continue to the historic Arrow town. Built on the banks of the Arrow River during the 1860s gold rush. Proceed on to Queenstown have lunch (own expense) and in the afternoon have short tour of Queenstown tour with a visit to the famous Kawarau Bridge, home of the original Bungee Jump founded by AJ Hackett. Dare to take the plunge from the 141-foot(43–meter) platform (at your own expense), or just watch the brave. Proceed to the town of Te Anau for overnight.

Day 11
Te Anau - Milford sound - QueensTown
Today go through the Homer Tunnel to Milford Sound, making stops en route to view the scenery, including the fabled Mirror Lakes. On arrival, board the MV Milford Monarch for a spectacular cruise through the fjord and out to the Tasman Sea. Milford Sound, with Mitre Peak at its heart has often been referred as one of the natural wonders of the world, due to the combination of its deep blue waters, towering peaks and spectacular waterfalls. Head back to Queenstown for overnight.

Day 12
QueensTown - Auckland City Tour - Cruise
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Auckland. On arrival have a short trip over the Harbour Bridge to the North Shore before returning to the central city to visit Queen Street and the Auckland Viaduct. Next visit the city’s oldest park, the Auckland Domain, which is situated on an ancient volcano. Stop in the quaint village of Parnell and wander around the historic buildings many of which have been transformed into fashionable boutiques Enjoy the scenic water front route of Tamaki Drive to the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park, in Mission Bay. Here you will see a memorial to the first Labour Prime Minister of New Zealand and the founder of the welfare state. The park has panoramic views over Whenua Rangatira, Auckland city and Waitemata Harbour and is great for photo opportunities. Later take a cruise around the Waitemata harbour bay to have a view of the famous Auckland Harbour Bridge. Overnight Auckland.
