UK - Bogota
Board the flight from UK (usually in the evening) to Bogota the capital city of Colombia.

Day 02
Bogota - City Tour - Mount Monserrate
Today, upon arrival into Bogota, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and relax after your flight. In the afternoon, you take a walking tour around the historic centre of the city. The first stop will be at Plaza de Bolivar. We walk along the streets and take a close look at the most important buildings of the city, such as the National Capitol, which is the centre of the country's legislative life; Casa de los Comuneros; Casa de Narino, which is the Presidential house; and the Santa Clara Church Museum. The tour includes a visit to the Gold Museum, which exhibits about 34,000 pieces of metalwork from various Hispanic cultures and a visit to the House Museum Quinta de Bolivar, the house belonged to Simon Bolivar. The tour continues taking a cable car to the iconic symbol of Bogota, the Mount Monserrate Hill rising up to 3,152 above sea level, to visit the sanctuary where you will find the statue of the Lord of Miracles. From there it is possible to enjoy the best view of Bogota. After dinner, we return to the hotel.

Day 03
The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá - Pereira
After breakfast, you go on a tour through La Sabana de Bogota to the town of Zipaquira, which means 'city of our Father' in the language of the Chibcha. In pre-Colombian times, salt around the area was the most important commodity and the ‘salt cakes’ were the only currency for trading. Over time, technology improved and the indigenous tribe, Muiscas, began to extract larger amounts of salt. As a result, an underground salt deposit was formed and it is where the Salt Cathedral was built, 180 meters below the surface. Inside, there is a chapel,“capilla de los mineros” built as a tribute to the Virgin “Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá” (Guasá means 'mine' in Chibcha). Afterlunch, transfer to airport for flight to Pereira. on arrival check into hotel,rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 04
Pereira - Coffee Tour
This morning you take a flight to Pereira. On arrival, after lunch we experience the Coffee tour.
Since UNESCO declared Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape as World Heritage, several places in the region have created experiences where people recognise the exceptional values that give this region a unique condition. In this Finca del Café Coffee Tour in Santa Rosa del Cabal, close to the city of Pereira, you walk through a beautiful coffee plantation trail and we will teach you how the coffee is processed, from sowing to selective hand-picking and the pulping process. After that we will roast the beans with firewood in a typical farm kitchen and finally prepare the drink and enjoy a delicious cup of the mildest coffee in the world, grown in the Finca del Café. Overnight in Pereira.

Day 05
Pereira - Valle Del Cocora - Salento - Pereira
This morning you head towards Valle Del Cocora, along the way, appreciate the beautiful landscape. On arrival at Valle Del Cocora you will be welcome and experience a special beverage, Canelazo. Thereafter you go to the wood fog, where you could see the biodiversity of the place and have free time to enjoy. Later you drive to the typical colonial town of Salento, where you can take a walk visiting the Plaza de Bolivar with its colourful and typical balconies, art studios and the Cocora view point. Return to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 06
Finca La Romelia (Orchid and Bird Watching) - Medellin
After breakfast, we drive towards Medellin. We will stop at Finca la Romelia (Orchid and Bird Watching). Here tourists walk along trails across the crops and native forest in the farm. Later, we continue with a guided visit to the vivarium and the main house. Here visitors learn about agricultural production and understand preservation and conservation of the biodiversity. Then we continue to Medellin for overnight.

Day 07
Nutibara Hill - Medellin City tour - Graffiti Tour - Metrocable
This morning, the tour includes a visit to the Museum of Antioquia, which houses the largest collection of works donated by the artist Fernando Botero to Medellín.
The tour continues to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Botero Square, the Park of desires, the Botanical Garden Joaquín Antonio Uribe, the Explora Park, the Bare Feet Park, the EPM Public Library, the old railway station and the residential and business area of El Poblado, known as the golden mile. Later we head towards Cerro Nutibara, to visit the famous Pueblito Paisa, where you will see a replica of a typical village in Antioquia from the twentieth century that includes a church and the mayor’s office.
After lunch, we continue with the Graffiti walking tour, which starts in the San Javier neighbourhood and ends in the Electrical Stairs of Comuna 13 in the Independencies neighbourhood.
The tour ends with a trip by metro where it is possible to enjoy a panoramic view of the city (Visit the Botanical Gardens Subject to closures for private events and a visit to Metrocable subject to it being operational). Then we continue our way to Arvi Ecological Park - an ecological nature preserve and Pre-Hispanic archaeological site deep onto the cloud forest from where it’s possible to observe a panoramic view of the city.
Finally, we are going to visit Santa Elena, where you could buy some souvenirs and visit a flower farm, where you will participate in the process of making a "Silleta" – flower arrangements on a flat cardboard.

Day 08
Marinilla - El Penol Guatape - Medellin
After breakfast, we take you on a tour along the eastern side of the region. We will be passing through the towns of Marinilla, where you will find colonial buildings and fervent religious traditions. Continue the drive to the new El Penol, a municipality that replaced the old El Penol that was flooded to build the reservoir El Penol Guatape in the late 1970s. Next, we will visit "La Piedra de El Penol", a 220 meters high rock, and the Guatape town, where you will see facades from the twentieth century. You can optionally ride a boat round the lake. The ascent to the stone of the El Penol (659 steps) is also optional. Return back to Medellin for our night stay.

Day 09
Medellin - Cartagena - City Tour
This morning we take our flight from Medellin to Cartagena. In the afternoon, we continue with the tour around Cartagena de Indias. The tour starts at the modern neighbourhoods of Bocagrande and Manga, where you will be able to see the contrast between modern architecture and the beauty of the old houses from the twentieth century. Further ahead, up at the Cerro de la Popa, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the heart of Cartagena as well as the whole city. The historic centre of Cartagena was declared Heritage of the Humanity by UNESCO in 1984. From here, we will go visit the Castle where the Spaniards sought to protect the city from the attacks of the English in the seventeenth century, “el Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas”. It includes entry to Cerro de la Popa, Castillo de San Felipe and Emerald Museum. In the early evening, we take you for a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. During the tour, you will be passing by the narrow streets of the city to see the elegant houses and balconies of more than 400 years adorned with flowers. After the ride, you will be taken for a dinner. At night take an optional ride on a Chiva. Chiva is a typical and colourful Colombian bus with wooden benches that drives around the city and the streets of the historic centre of Cartagena. You can enjoy some national liquors and music like vallenato in the Chiva.
