On arrival at Lima airport clear immigration, customs and board the coach. Check into the hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Lima.

Day 03
Lima City tour - BCRP Museum
Lima, the city has always been one of the most important cities in South America since it was founded by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro in 1535. Head towards Historic Center of the city of Lima, passing by the Huaca Pucllana on the way. Upon arriving to the Main Square, see the Governments Palace, the Archbishops Palace, the City Hall and the Cathedral, great opportunity of photographing the impressive colonial buildings of this part of the city. See the 18th-century San Francisco Monastery and its Catacombs continue to the Museum of Banco Central de Reserva, a chance to admire Peru’s treasures: a fine selection of objects made in gold, ceramics and textiles of its different pre-Columbian cultures, ranging from their origins to Inca times (BCR is closed on Saturday and Sunday). Visit the residential areas of San Isidro, Miraflores, the new commercial area south of Lima, and the ocean front to enjoy a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. Lunch (vegetarian) at a local restaurant in Miraflores, later enjoy the afternoon at leisure. End the long day with a beautiful meal at the Indian restaurant. Overnight in Lima.

Day 04
Lima - Arequipa City Tour - Santuarios Andino Museum - Santa Catalin Convent
After early morning breakfast take a flight to Arequipa. On arrival, you start with an orientation of Arequipa, Head to the main square: Plaza de Armas and its Cathedral (from outside). Here a walking orientation to see the cloisters of La Compañia Church, square of San Francisco. Visit to the Santuarios Andinos Museum at Santa María Catholic University, where the mummy Juanita or the "Lady of Ampato" is kept, an Inca adolescent sacrificed to the mountain deities -Apus- who was found on Mount Ampato after being buried in the ice for around 500 years. Then walk to citadel of Santa Catalina Convent, founded in 1580, with its cloisters, picturesque streets and plazas that remain the same as they were centuries ago. You will also learn about the lives of the select group of nuns who lived there. Overnight in Arequipa.

Day 05
Arequipa - Colca - Chivay
Today visit the old district of San Lazaro and Carmen Alto. From here at the Yanahuara Belvedere, view the city of Arequipa and the three volcanoes: Misti, Chachani & Pichu Pichu. Later departure for Colca Valley, passing near the thermal baths of Yura and climbing up towards the "National Reserve of Pampa de Cañahuas" (95Km and 3,800 metres above sea-level), where groups of Alpacas, Vicuñas and sometimes guanacos can be seen. Proceed to visit Vizcachani, the Toccra Pampas will skirt the crater of the Chucura Volcano to reach the Los Andes Scenic Viewpoint in Patapampa (4910m), from here see the various volcanoes that surround Arequipa. After driving several hours more, the descent to the Colca Valley starts. The trip continues down the valley, passing next to several villages till the arrival at Chivay, the most important town of the valley. After lunch have free time at hot springs. Overnight in Colca Valley.

Day 06
Colca Valley Canyon - Patapampa - Arequipa
Today head towards the Cross of the Condor, the best location to admire the Colca Canyon and - if weather allows it - you will get the chance to observe the majestic flight of the condors. On your way back, visit the colorful towns of Pinchollo and Maca, before arriving at Chivay, here have lunch and an early afternoon departure to Arequipa via Patapampa and the viewpoint of the volcanoes (6 hours).

Day 07
Arequipa -Cusco - Pisac - Ollantaytambo - Sacred Valley
Transfer to the airport for your early morning flight to Cusco, upon arrival transfer to Sacred Valley. Visit to Pisac Inca Citadel. Situated on top of a mountain range overlooking the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Pisac is a complex of temples, housing areas, agricultural terraces and astronomical observatories built by the Incas, centuries ago. Continue our visit to the village of Pisac, where the handicraft market takes place everyday. Enjoy buffet styled lunch, thereafter visit the Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town which is still inhabited, and explore the ruins which tower above it. Overnight at Sacred Valley.

Day 08
Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Today transfer from the hotel to the rail station for a train ride to Aguas Calientes at the foot of the Machu Picchu Ruins, transfer by bus to the ruins, have a guided tour of Machu Picchu which is totally built of stone blocks, fitted with masterful precision. This fabulous city has houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square, all connected by narrow roads and steps, and is surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side which were used for agriculture. Return to Ollantantambo by train, from here drive back to Cusco for the dinner and overnight.

Day 09
Cusco city tour - Inca Ruins
Today, embark on a guided city tour of Cuzco which includes the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Santo Domingo Church or Koricancha. Continue with a visit to the four ruins nearby, 1) the Sacsayhuaman Fortress: overlooking the city of Cuzco, a pre-Inca architectural masterpiece. 2) Kenko: a rock sanctuary whose main attraction is a monolithic altar representing a puma. 3) Puca Pucara: the red Fortress. 4) Tambomachay: Incha baths. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 10
Cusco - Andahuaylillas – Racchi – PucaPucara - Puno
After morning breakfast drive to Puno, enroute enjoy the magnificent scenery of the valley south of Cusco. First stop is Andahuaylillas, which has a beautiful 17th Century church containing an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs. After that, the ruins at Racchi -also known as the "Temple of Wiracocha"- the different zones of which were used for different purposes. Later visit the archaeological site of Puca-Pucara, basically a military camp that also functioned as an administrative centre. Overnight stay in Puno.

Day 11
Puno - Copacabana – Sun Island – Moon Island - Lake Titicaca
This morning after breakfast drive from Puno to Copacabana which is nestled between two hills on the shores of the lake and is the home of the famous dark virgin. Take a hydrofoil cruise to Sun Island. Visit the Inca “Grand Stairs” and the Sacred Fountain; taste the water believed to give eternal youth and happiness. Lunch at the Uma Kollu archaeological Restaurant; Visit the small handicraft market. Continue the hydrofoil cruise to Moon Island, visit the Sun Virgins Temple “Iñak Uyu”. Hydrofoil cruise to Cocotani. Transfer in bus to Huatajata. Upon arrival, audiovisual and night experience of "The Mystic World of the Kallawayas", natural healers of Bolivia.They believe that you first have to heal the soul in order to heal your body. Tata Benjo, -our Kallawaya- will bless visitors and answer questions by casting his sacred coca leaves. Overnight at Huatajata.

Day 12
Huatajata - Kalauta - Urus Iruitos Floating Island - Huatajata
This morning take a Hydrofoil cruise to the Kalauta Island. Visit the ruins of an ancient stone Village and one of the largest necropolis in the area with its mysterious Chullpas mortuary towers; some of them with 2 and 3 floors. Enjoy a navigation on Lake Titicaca, swinging among totora-reed canals to reach the Urus Iruitos Floating Islands & Quewaya Sustainable Project, a rescue of an over 5.000 years old culture and a social project created to assure their survival. Enjoy a breath taking view of the Royal Range of the Andes. Return to Huatajata. On arrival, visit the Andean Roots Eco Village: The Altiplano Museum; Handicrafts village, the Mud Igloos and the mortuary towers of the Urus Chipayas. Meet the Limachi family, builders of the RA II and Tigris for epic expeditions across the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy our elegant vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and the mythical Suri. By night, visit the Native Observatory Alajpacha. Learn from the Aymaras Cosmo vision and watch the southern constellations.

Day 13
Tiwanaku - La Paz (Bolivia)
Overland journey road running parallel to the mighty snowed peaks of the Andes towards Tiwanaku. The archaeological site of Tiwanaku (1.580BC-1.000AD); this magnificent ruin of Bolivia belong to one of the oldest civilizations in the Americas. The Sun Gate, the Temple of Kalasasaya and the Pyramid of Akapana are the sample of a glorious past. Tiwanaku culture was an agrarian based economy with an estimated population of 115,000 inhabitants. Later drive to La Paz. On reaching La Paz take a Cable car ride from one point of the city to another and enjoy the view. Overnight stay in La Paz.

Day 14
La Paz - Uyuni Train Cemetry - Uyuni Salt Flat
This morning transfer to the Airport of La Paz for the flight to Uyuni. Arrival to Uyuni and transfer to the hotel to leave the luggage and immediately start an excursion to the Salt Lake and Isla Pescado. Uyuni is the largest salt flat on Earth, located on the Bolivian Andean Altiplano with 12,000 square km; the Bolivian Andes offer stunning sceneries which can be hardly matched. The sound of silence makes the heart beats faster and the surreal pentagons of crystalline salt, the pure sky, the color lagoons, the cacti and the flamingos, certainly makes you feel that there is no other place like this in the whole world. Lunch at Isla Pescado, also called “Incawasi”, an oasis with formations of algae and fossils. It is covered by thousands of giant columnar cacti, which can be more than a hundred years old, growing to a height of over 12 meters. The landscape against the background of the salt pans extending to the horizon makes it an ideal place for photography hunters. Dinner and overnight in Uyuni.

Uyuni Salt Flat - La Paz - Moon Valley
This morning transfers to the airport for your return flight to La Paz; upon arrival, have a half day City Tour of La Paz and Moon Valley. The City of La Paz and its surroundings can transport you to a mysterious past where any corner, any street, is a hidden treasure where adventure begins; a living history which treasures the pre-Hispanic times with all their traditions and magic rites on its streets. The indigenous, colonial and modern areas, Indian Market, Witch Doctor's Market and breathtaking panoramas are all framed by the majestic "Illimani" mountain. Visit the Moon Valley, a clay formation resembling the face of the Moon. Cable car ride from one point of the city to another and enjoy the view. Overnight in La Paz.

La Paz - Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Day 17
Buenos Aires City tour - Tigre Delta - Tango Show
Today enjoy a city tour visiting the most interesting places in Buenos Aires. We start off by having some time in Plaza de Mayo Square, then on to the Government House, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mayo Avenue, the Congress Palace, the Colón Theatre (from outside),the Cabildo, La Boca neighbourhood and Palermo. After lunch the tour continues toward Tigre, an enchanting section located at the mouth of the delta of the Parana River. A ride in a boat on the Delta allows appreciation of the older mansions that contrast with the newer wooden houses of today, constructed on pilings to soften the effects of the constant river risings. The delta is integrated with a quantity of small islets covered with abundant subtropical vegetation and crossed by canals and rivulets. Later on, enjoy moments of rest in this ideal environment for contact with nature and fresh air, away from the bustle of the city. Late evening return to the hotel and then transfer to see a fantastic Tango show.

Day 18
Buenos Aires - Iguazu Falls (Brazil side)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Iguazu. Upon arrival, you will be met and taken to a hotel in the falls (please note due to shortage of accommodation near the falls we may have to be quite a distance from them. This all depends on early booking). In the afternoon, a short walk down to the viewing platforms takes you past jungle, wildlife and birds to get as close as possible to the Falls. There are Optional helicopter rides available for those that would like to enjoy an aerial view over the Falls.

Iguazu Falls (Argentina Side)
After breakfast, you visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. Board a small train in the heart of the National Park which takes passengers on a short train ride to the pathways and walkways which lead to the Devil’s Throat area of the Iguassu Falls. Here enjoy spectacular Views over the Falls area. After some free time return to your hotel.

Iguazu Bird Park - Rio de Janerio - Sugar Loaf
This morning take tour to the Iguazu bird park. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio. Today upon arrival into Rio you will be met at the airport and continue to one of the most stunning landmark of Rio de Janeiro, the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Reach the summit by enjoying a cable car ride. Overnight in Rio.

Day 21
Corcovado - Rio City Tour - Ginga Show
Enjoy a half day tour of the city and its beaches and then on to Cosme Velho, where the modern cog-wheel train is boarded for a 20- minute ride to the top of the Corcovado (800m/2,400Ft). The Christ the Redeemer statue is an important monument with its 40m height but the real spectacle is the 360 degrees view of the scenery below, encompassing city, bay, mountain and sea. Afternoon at leisure enjoying free time for shopping. Late evening, enjoy an Indian meal before returning to your hotel.

Seaside Relax - Ginga Show

The day to relax. Late evening you get transferred to the Ginga show with Dinner. The show is a display of the Brazilian music tradition and the participants will have the opportunity to have a glimpse of the rich Carnival costumes and the contagious sound of the drums.
